Privacy Policy

What we collect

Contact form. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your company, team, and what’s on your mind. The form is handled by Formspree, which delivers your message to our inbox and stores a copy on its servers.

Analytics. We use two privacy-focused analytics services to understand how the Site is used in aggregate: Vercel Analytics and Simple Analytics. Neither uses cookies, fingerprints your device, or tracks you across other sites. They record things like which pages are viewed, the referring site, your browser type, and your country, derived from your IP address, which is not stored. Simple Analytics honours the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser.

Email. If you email us directly at hello@breadboardfoundry.com, we keep that correspondence like any other email.

Server logs. The Site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and operational purposes.

What we don't do

• We don’t set tracking or advertising cookies.
• We don’t sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing.
• We don’t add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.
• We don’t collect any information from you that you haven’t chosen to send.

The Site stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. That value never leaves your device.

How we use it

We use what you send through the contact form to reply to you and, if it comes to that, to work together. We use analytics to see which parts of the Site people find useful. That’s it.

Third parties

Besides Formspree, Vercel, and Simple Analytics, your browser loads fonts and a small script from third-party content delivery networks (Google Fonts, cdnfonts.com, and unpkg.com) when it renders the Site. Those services see your IP address as part of serving the request, as any web server does. We don’t share anything else with them.

The Site links to other sites we run and to sites we don’t control (GitHub, LinkedIn, and others). Each of those has its own privacy practices.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages and email for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of any working relationship that follows. If you’d like a message deleted, ask and we’ll delete it from our inbox and from Formspree. Aggregate analytics data doesn’t identify you and is kept indefinitely.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@breadboardfoundry.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We don’t sell personal information.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, let us know and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we’ll say so plainly here.
